28.02.2025 - GUEST LECTURE ON "INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS & PATENTS"
The Department of Microbiology under the guidance of the IQAC organized an insightful guest lecture on "Intellectual Property Rights & Patents" on 28th February 2025. The session featured Mrs. R. Vanitha, an esteemed Indian Patent and Trademark Agent, as the resource person. The lecture provided an in-depth understanding of intellectual property rights, their significance in research and innovation, and the procedures for patent filing. 200 post Graduate students and final year students actively participated, gaining valuable insights into legal frameworks and career opportunities in the field of patents and trademarks. The event concluded successfully, fostering awareness and knowledge about intellectual property protection in academia and industry.
