The Department of Microbiology in association with the Eco club observed “World Animal Day’’. World Animal Day refers to a day dedicated to the animal kingdom. Every year, 4th October is celebrated as world animal welfare day; it is done to celebrate the relationship between humans and animals. The Eco club organized a poster presentation competition on the topic ‘Role of Animals in the Food Chain’. The primary objective of the topic was to make them aware of the importance of animals in our ecosystem and in the food chain. Students actively participated and sent their posters which was displayed in the notice board.
