15.07.2025 - KARMAVEERAR KAMARAJAR BIRTHDAY OBSERVANCE
The Department of Tamil, organized a commemorative event to celebrate the birth anniversary of Karmaveerar K. Kamarajar, the esteemed former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu known for his commitment to education and public welfare on the 15th of July, 2025. The program commenced with a prayer song and a welcome address by the Head of the Department. Students presented a short biography highlighting Kamarajar’s pivotal role in introducing free education and the noon meal scheme. The event also featured an oratorical and essay writing competition on the theme “Kamarajar – The Visionary Leader,” with enthusiastic student participation that reflected deep respect for his legacy of selfless
service and leadership.
