    The 78th Independence Day celebration was held on August 15, 2024, and featured a series of vibrant cultural events to commemorate this significant national occasion. The event was honored by the presence of several distinguished guests, including the Chairperson, Rev. Mother Dr. Leema Rosario, The Principal, Dr. I annammal Arputha Mary, Dean of College Development Smt. Benedict Kumari, Dr. Murugesan, The College Advisor, and Smt. Archana, the Public Relations Officer of the college. The Chairperson delivered an inspiring speech, reflecting on the journey of the nation since independence and encouraging students to contribute positively to the country’s progress. She emphasized the importance of national unity and the role of education in shaping future leaders and highlighted the contributions of the institution towards fostering a sense of patriotism among students. The cultural segment of the program showcased an array of performances, including traditional dances, patriotic songs, and skits, all reflecting the spirit of freedom and national pride.
