17.03.2026 - 8TH GRADUATION DAY
The 8th Graduation Day of St. Anne's Arts and Science College was celebrated with great dignity and enthusiasm, marking a significant milestone in the academic journey of the students. The ceremony was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. T. Sasiprabha, Vice Chancellor of VELS University, who delivered an inspiring address on women empowerment. She emphasized that women should be the light of the family and highlighted the importance of balancing both career and family responsibilities while contributing meaningfully to society. The Annual Report for the academic year 2025–2026 was presented by Dr. I. Annammal Arputhamary, Principal, outlining the institution’s achievements in academic, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities.
A total of 526 graduates, including both Undergraduate and Postgraduate students, received their degrees on this proud occasion. The college also celebrated its University Rank Holders, bringing great honour and recognition to the institution: Varshini P of B.Sc. Computer Science secured the 2nd rank in French; Nivetha L of BCA secured the 3rd rank in Major; Naiefunissa E of B.Com General secured the 4th rank in Major; Shabana M of B.Sc. Mathematics secured the 6th rank in Major; Avanthika Pandey of B.Com General secured the 8th rank in Major; Sadiya Noorie M A of B.A. English secured the 9th rank in Major; and Sarathy P of B.Com CS secured the 10th rank in Major. The campus presented a vibrant and celebratory atmosphere, glowing with graduates dressed in their convocation robes, adding colour and pride to the occasion. Memorable photographs were taken to cherish the special moments, capturing the joy and accomplishment of the graduates. Each graduate was presented with a bag as a token of love and remembrance, making the day truly unforgettable. The event concluded on a note of pride and accomplishment, celebrating the success of the graduates and inspiring them towards a bright future.
