15.08.2025 - INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
St. Anne’s Arts and Science College celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm, bringing together the management, faculty, and students to honour the nation’s glorious history and the sacrifices of its freedom fighters. The celebration began with inspiring speeches delivered in both Tamil and English, where students expressed gratitude to the martyrs and urged everyone to contribute towards building a stronger India. A vibrant cultural performance featuring a dance choreography on unity in diversity highlighted the richness of India’s heritage, while a spirited parade of students in white attire with saffron, green, white, and blue dupattas symbolizing the National Flag added to the patriotic spirit. The disciplined march and salutes, along with students dressed as freedom fighters, paid heartfelt tribute to the nation’s heroes. The celebration not only showcased the values of unity, discipline, and cultural pride but also served as a reminder of the collective responsibility to uphold freedom, equality, and integrity in everyday life.
