19.09.2025 - INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON NATURE AND SPIRITUALITY THROUGH THE LENS OF LITERATURE
The Department of English and Tamil organized an International Conference on “Nature and Spirituality through the Lens of Literature” (SAASC-NSTLL-25) on 19th September 2025 (Friday). The conference aimed to explore the intricate relationship between nature, spirituality, and literary expression in various cultural and philosophical contexts. The conference attracted around 150 research papers from scholars, academicians, and students across the nation and abroad, reflecting the growing academic interest in eco-spiritual perspectives in literature. The sessions featured insightful presentations and thought-provoking discussions that highlighted the significance of literature in fostering ecological awareness and spiritual harmony. The conference concluded on a successful note, leaving the participants enriched with new ideas, interdisciplinary insights, and a renewed sense of academic enthusiasm toward the convergence of literature, environment, and spirituality.
