St. Anne’s Arts and Science College is constantly conducting webinars during this lockdown and on behalf of the Department of English National Level Faculty Facilitation Session “Bridge Course and Remedial Class in ELT” was held on 11/06/2020. The Resource person of this program was Dr.S.Bala Subramaniam, Assistant Professor in English, D.R.B.C.C.C.Hindu College, Pattabiram,Chennai. The participants were from various colleges and from different States. At first the Resource person explained the difference between the bridge course and remedial class clearly. Then he facilitated the participants by illustrating with different types of learners and only based upon the learners, bridge course and remedial class should be planned. The second session of this program was an interactive session where the participants were actively asked questions and the resource person too answered them interestingly. The session was meaningful, thought-provoking and useful to all the participants.
