12.01.2026 - BLOOD DONATION AWARENESS MIME

The Red Ribbon Club of St. Anne’s Arts and Science College organized a Blood Donation Awareness Mime on 12 January 2026 to educate and sensitize students about the importance of blood donation and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The programme aimed to dispel common myths surrounding blood donation, highlight its life-saving benefits, and emphasize the vital role of youth in contributing to society by helping those in need. Through an engaging and informative skit, students were shown real-life scenarios that demonstrated the impact of timely blood donation, the safety measures involved, and the positive social responsibility associated with this act of service. The interactive presentation encouraged students to overcome apprehensions, cultivate empathy, and actively participate in blood donation drives, fostering a spirit of community service and awareness about health and well-being. Overall, the event was both educational and inspiring, motivating students to contribute meaningfully to life-saving initiatives.
