09.08.2024 - VALUE EDUCATION SEMINAR
On 9 August 2024 a guest lecture on Value Education was conducted by the IQAC of the college for the Third year students. Rev. Fr. Sabastian, Director JDAX Academy and Rev. Fr. Roy, professor JDAX were the special guest speakers. The session aimed to impart essential values and life skills to students, emphasizing the importance of moral and ethical principles in personal and professional life. Rev. Fr. Sabastian began the session by discussing the core values that shape a persons character, including honesty, compassion, integrity, and respect. He highlighted the significance of these values in building a strong foundation for a fulfilling life and encouraged students to incorporate them into their daily routines. Rev. Fr. Roy continued the lecture by focusing on the role of education in developing a value-based society. He emphasized the importance of empathy, self-discipline, and social responsibility. Through various anecdotes and examples, he demonstrated how living a value-driven life leads to success and inner peace. The lecture was interactive, with both speakers engaging 600 third year students through thought-provoking questions and discussions. The students were inspired by the insights shared and left with a deeper understanding of how values influence their decisions and actions.
