07.07.2026 - WORLD FOOD SAFETY DAY AWARENESS AND DEMONSTRATION PROGRAMME
The Department of Microbiology, St. Anne’s Arts and Science College, observed World Food Safety Day on 7 July 2026 by organizing an awareness and demonstration programme for first-year students. The programme highlighted the importance of food safety, personal hygiene, and safe food handling practices through an engaging role-play and interactive activity. The session enhanced students’ understanding of hygiene standards, prevention of foodborne illnesses, and the shared responsibility of ensuring safe and healthy food practices.
