The Departments of Computer Applications, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Microbiology of St. Anne’s Arts and Science College organized an Outreach Programme at Street Vision Thayagam Rehabilitation Home on 12 January 2026. The programme was carried out with the participation of around 30 students and three faculty members, benefiting nearly 60 residents of the rehabilitation home. The initiative aimed to support and engage positively with the residents while fostering compassion and social responsibility among students. The programme began with a warm welcome and an introduction explaining the purpose and significance of the outreach. Students conducted simple, enjoyable activities and meaningful interactions that created a cheerful and friendly atmosphere. A feedback session allowed both residents and students to share their experiences, making the programme interactive and reflective. As part of the initiative, food and essential materials were distributed in an organized manner to ensure all beneficiaries were reached. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the rehabilitation home staff, faculty members, and student volunteers for their cooperation, making the outreach a meaningful and successful experience.
