16.07.2025 - CYBER CRIME AWARENESS PROGRAMME
The 1930 – Cyber Crime Awareness Programme was held on 16th July 2025 at St. Anne’s Arts and Science College, Madhavaram, in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Police Cyber Crime Division, with 1930 students participating. The event aimed to educate students on cyber threats and safe digital practices, featuring key addresses by Tmt. I. Shahnaz, IPS, Tmt. M. Meenakshi, and Tmt. M. Sri Lisha Stebila Theras, who highlighted issues like phishing, cyberbullying, and online fraud while promoting responsible online behaviour. Actor Naveen Muralidhar added inspiration with an engaging speech on using the internet wisely. A cyber safety quiz was conducted, and winners were awarded books and certificates, while all participants received certificates. The session was well-received, leaving students informed, alert, and digitally empowered.
