The Inter-Departmental Cultural Fest – MELANGE’26, themed “Retro Rewind,” was conducted with great enthusiasm on 21 August 2026, taking participants and the audience on a vibrant journey through the golden eras of the 1960s to the 1990s. The inaugural session marked the formal commencement of the fest and was graced by distinguished alumnae of the college as Chief Guests. A total of 18 cultural events, including dance, singing, ramp walk, cooking, mehendi, poetry, mono acting, short film, photography, debate, painting and other creative competitions, provided students with a platform to showcase their talent, creativity, confidence and team spirit. Participants brought their allotted decades alive through music, costumes, styling, choreography and creative presentations, adding a unique charm to the celebrations. After a day of vibrant performances and healthy competition, the Department of Microbiology emerged as the Overall Champion, while the Department of Mathematics secured the Runner-up Trophy. Overall, MELANGE’26 was a memorable celebration of talent, teamwork, creativity and youthful spirit, leaving participants with cherished memories of their college life.
