Tamil Department organized a National level webinar titled,’Pazhatamizhaga Peruvazhigal’ on June 25^th 2020. Dr. Vaani Arivaalan, Assistant Professor, Department of Tamil Language, University of Madras was the guest speaker of the session. More than 350 members were registered and participated. The guest speaker focussed on the Sangam period people’s lives and troubles when they were relocated from one place to another. Then the speaker explained about how the desert region (Palai Nilam) occurred in Literature and described that it is not only a part of forest region but also a sea region. Further she elaborated about the Sangam Period in an interesting way. It was highly informative and the webinar was a great success in all possible respects. E-certificates were provided to all the participants.
