25.06.2026 - AWARENESS SESSION ON SINGAPEN SPECIAL TASK FORCE
The Women Empowerment Club of the College organized an Awareness Session on the Singapen Special Task Force on 25 June 2026 to educate students on women's safety, legal rights, and support systems. The programme featured Inspector Uma, Sub-Inspector, Singapen Special Task Force, along with Women Head Constable Ms. Leela and Ms. Muniammal from the Kolathur Branch as resource persons. The speakers created awareness about the objectives of the Singapen Special Task Force, safety measures for women, cybercrime prevention, emergency support services, and the importance of reporting harassment without fear. Through informative interactions and practical guidance, the session empowered students to be aware of their rights, prioritize personal safety, and contribute towards building a secure and respectful society.
