The IQAC of the college conducted a national level webinar on the topic ‘Intellectual Property Rights’ on the 17^th of June, 2020. The Guest speaker for the session was Mr. J Arumugam, Librarian GRD Memorial Library, PSG College of Technology Coimbatore. The speaker who is well versed in this field of expertise gave a very deep insight on the concepts related to IPR. He elaborated on the concepts of Trademarks, Patents, Copyright and geographical indications. The audience were given a very clear and an extensive explanation by the speaker. 100 participants were present for the session and Webex Plateform was used for the session to connect with all the 100 participants. Many queries were posted to the speaker during the session for which the speaker answered them appropriately. The session ended with a vote of thanks and the feedback link was provided to the participants.
