Road Safety Week is observed in St. Anne’s Arts and Science College from 11th to 17th January. Mr. Kumar, Sub-Inspector of K4 Police Station, Anna Nagar, Chennai, educated our students and parents about Road Safety. In his address he talked on the importance of following the traffic signals, and the purpose of white and yellow lines on the road. He advised the students to avoid rash driving and overtaking in turnings. Road safety signs and golden rules for road safety were explained to the students to know more about Road Safety in detail. It has become a great way to educate students and their parents about the dangers on roads, and how to be safer on roads. This programme has made a huge difference in Student’s lives which help to prevent deaths and injuries.
