The literacy club of the college has initiated a literacy class for the workers of the college. The motto of the club is to help studnets increase their opportunity to learn more and also to help the others in need. Thus the initiative to first start off with the workers who help in the college campus. The first class was handled by Ms. G. Elamathi, Assistant Professor of English. She enquired the participants about their level of knowledge and gave them a small orientation of the Literacy Class. She also introduced them to the english alphabets. The session was a very succesful one as the workers were really happy to attend the classes and learn. The Literacy classes will be held every Saturday from 10-11 am. The studnets in the club will take over from the staff after a few orientation sessions.
