The Department of English in collaboration with the Department of Tamil organized a vibrant and intellectually stimulating Open Mic event titled “Reader’s Resonance” on 4^th August, 2025. The event offered a unique platform for students to express their personal connections with literary characters, poems, and texts that have resonated deeply with them. The session began with introduction of the theme of the event “Echoes of the Unspoken”—bridging the personal and the literary through heartfelt readings, reflections, and performances. Students were encouraged to pick a character, poem, or literary voice and bring it to life from their perspective. The stage came alive with powerful monologues, poetic renditions, and insightful reflections. The students of the department of English and the general Tamil students actively participated in the event and made it lively with their speeches.
