The Sports Day 2026 of St. Anne’s Arts and Science College was successfully conducted on 04/03/2026 with great enthusiasm and active participation from students of various departments. The programme was graced by the Chief Guest, Mr. A. Chandrasekaran, Former Assistant Director, Enforcement Directorate, Chennai, a National Volleyball Player, President’s Awardee, and World Customs Organization (WCO) International Awardee. The event featured a series of track and field competitions, where students displayed remarkable athletic skills, sportsmanship, and team spirit. The Chief Guest addressed the gathering and motivated the students by emphasizing the importance of discipline, perseverance, and physical fitness in achieving success. The winners of various events were honoured with prizes and certificates by the Chief Guest and the college authorities. The Overall Champions Trophy was proudly secured by the B.Sc. Computer Science Department for their outstanding performance in the competitions. The event concluded on a joyful note, celebrating the spirit of sports and encouraging students to actively participate in physical activities alongside their academic pursuits.
