The Tamil Elakkiya Mandrum under the guidance of the Tamil Department conducted competitions to commemorate the Death Anniversary of Mahakavi Bharathiyar on the 14^th of September, 2022. The competitions conducted were Kavithai narration, Bharathiyar stories recitation and speech on the history of his work.
