The Department of Microbiology in association with Health club organized State Level Webinar – “Make Every Breath Count” An awareness program to know about pneumonia “World Pneumonia Day” on 12^th November 2022. The Resource Person, Dr. M. Reenaa, Assistant Professor, Department of Microbiology, Ethiraj College for Women, enlightened students about what is pneumonia, causes for the infection, why is pneumonia so danger, its symptoms, and diagnostic methods, how to prevent us from pneumonia and the vaccines approved by CDC. The speaker highlighted   the diet tips to fight against pneumonia.
