On February 6, 2021, IQAC organised a Faculty Development Program under the guidance of Stella Maris College, the Paramarsh Scheme Mentors, for the teaching staff on Team Building. Ms. Vyjayanthi Jaganathan, an independent soft skill trainer, who is currently the head of TASK (Training for Attitudes Skills and Knowledge), a HRD organization providing training solutions in the area of soft skills to corporate and colleges.

Vyjayanthi Mam introduced herself and the topic with great pleasure. To make the session more effective and interactive, she divided the staff in to four groups and involved all the members in for a group activity.  Through the activity, she set forth a number of aspects involved with team building.  She familiarized the important areas in conflict resolution, dealing with criticism, team work, dealing with procrastination etc. Mam narrated many live incidences which was very inspiring and motivating. The session was lively and resourceful; with active engagement of all the staff members. Around 35 staff from all the departments attended the session and appreciated the resource person heartily. The session came to a close with a few queries answered by the speaker and a formal vote of thanks.
