The Electoral Literacy Club conducted the Just a Minute Competition on the ‘Role of a citizen in Voting’ on 7th August 2024 as part of the Independence week competitions. The goal of the event is to make participants talk for sixty seconds on a given topic, without repetition, hesitation, or deviation. The competition created an awareness of the importance of voting and role of a citizen. Voting is a fundamental right of any citizen that enables them to choose the leaders of tomorrow. Voting not only enables the citizens to vote for political parties, but it also helps them to realize the importance of citizenship. All the participants participated and educated themselves through the session. More than 25 students actively participated and exhibited their talent.
