Department of Tamil in collaboration with IQAC conducted various competitions to mark the Harvest festival – Pongal on 13^th of January 2021. The creative events were Pot painting, Rural Handicraft making, Folk singing (group & solo), folk dance (group & solo) and rangoli. The event was specially designed to catch a glimpse of conventional lifestyle and folklore. A Google form was created for receiving the videos and images, all the entries were consolidated and winners were announced. The event received 78 entries for various competitions and best three in all five genres were selected. E-Certificates were given to winners of various events.
