The Alumni Association and the Department of Accounting and Finance organized a Guest Lecture on 22nd September 2025 for the III Year students, featuring Ms. Lokeshwari Bavadharini, a CA Aspirant and an alumina of the department as the resource person. The session focused on the topic “Cost of Capital,” providing students with a comprehensive understanding of its concepts, components, and significance in financial decision-making. Drawing from her academic knowledge and practical insights, Ms. Lokeshwari explained the methods of calculating the cost of equity, debt, and overall capital structure, emphasizing their role in investment appraisal and corporate finance. The interactive session enabled students to clarify doubts and connect theoretical learning with real-world financial practices.
