    DEPARTMENT OF MICROBIOLOGY

    To equip young girls with the necessary knowledge required to become proficient next generation students in the field of Bio-Sciences in order to be become pioneers in the areas of academia, industry and healthcare.

    St.Annes Arts and Science College introduced microbiology and established department for the field of study in the academic year, 2022.

    The department aims to impart quality education to students and prepare them for new challenges in research.

    The department has a well equipped effectively functioning laboratory with all the latest instruments.

    Besides this, the department of microbiology in St. Annes Arts and Science College offers several certificate courses which include:

    • Vermicomposting
    • Production of Bio-fertilizers
