18.06.2026 - WORLD COMMUNICATION DAY
The Department of Media and Communication, in association with IQAC, observed World Communication Day on 18th June 2026. The programme featured Rev. Fr. David Arockiam, who served as the resource person for the event. He addressed the students on the message delivered by Pope Leo XIV for this year's World Communication Day, highlighting the importance of responsible communication, truthfulness, empathy, and ethical use of digital media in today's interconnected world. He encouraged students to become effective communicators who promote understanding, respect, and positive social change through their words and actions. The session was insightful and inspiring, helping students understand the vital role of communication in building a more compassionate and informed society.
