IQAC organised an online FDP on the topic ‘Effective Literature Reviews in Research’. The session was held on 2^nd December 2022 and handled by Dr. P. Geetha, Assistant Professor and Head, Pg Department of Computer Science, Dr. Umayal Ramanathan College for Women, Karaikudi. Ma’am clearly explained the meaning of literature review, which is an informative, critical, and useful synthesis of a particular topic. It can identify what is known (and unknown) in the subject area, identify areas of controversy or debate, and help formulate questions that need further research. Ma’am also furthered on the characterization of a good review by the author’s efforts to evaluate and critically analyze the relevant work in the field.
