23.01.2026 - INVESTOR EDUCATION AND FINANCIAL AWARENESS PROGRAMME
The Department of Accounting and Finance and the Department of Corporate and Business Administration successfully organized an Investor Education and Financial Awareness Programme on 23 January 2026, in collaboration with Mirae Asset Mutual Fund and the Centre for Investment Education and Learning (CIEL), as part of the India Book of World Records Financial Inclusion Drive. The programme aimed to empower undergraduate and postgraduate girl students with essential financial knowledge and smart money habits, in line with SEBI guidelines. The session was led by SEBI SMART trainers Mr. Mohan Kumar and Mr. Senthil Kumar, who delivered an engaging and informative interaction on savings, investments, insurance, and long-term financial planning. Around 210 students actively participated and gained valuable insights into financial literacy. All participants received e-certificates, and the college was recognized for its contribution to India’s largest girls’ financial awareness initiative, making the programme both impactful and memorable.
