St. Anne’s Arts and Science College, Madavaram, in association with the National Service Scheme (NSS), organized a Walkathon on 2^nd September 2025 to raise awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse. The programme was inaugurated by the Principal, who emphasized the crucial role of students and youth in eliminating the menace of drugs from society. The Walkathon commenced from the college campus and moved through the key areas of Madavaram. NSS volunteers, faculty members, and students actively participated, carrying placards and banners with powerful messages such as “Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life” and “Healthy Youth, Drug-Free Nation.” Participants also distributed pamphlets and interacted with the public, urging them to stay away from substance abuse and embrace a healthy lifestyle.
