The Eco club of the college organized “Poster Making Competition“ in observance of 78th Independence Day. The students of the club enthusiastically participated and presented poster on the topic Conservation of Biodiversity, Structure and function of an Ecosystem and the role of trees in soil erosion. Trees are one of the most natural methods to maintain healthy soil and prevent erosion. More than 75 participants from all the department exhibited their posters. The posters were displayed by participants and they learnt the role of trees in the prevention of soil erosion, the purpose of conserving the ecosystem, how to maintain the eco system by protecting the animals and plants. The students also illustrated in their posters how people exploit the natural resources by cutting the trees and hunting the animals. As we are experiencing the land sliding and soil erosion, the eco club students emphasized the role of trees in preventing the soil erosion.
