An awareness program on the current situation COVID19 was organised by the Health Club of St. Anne’s Arts and Science College on the 6^th of June, 2020 exclusively for the students and their parents. This initiative by the Health club was much appreciated by all as it was the need of the Hour. The District Health Educations from the Directorate of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Government of Tamil Nadu, Mr. Y. Isaac Arulkumar and Mr. C. Maria Arputhasamy explain the COVID situation very clearly to the students.

 Mr. Maria Elaborated on how this virus started and how far it has caused damage to the world. Mr. Isaac explain how the Tamil Nadu government have been taking up measures to prevent the spread and how they have involved themselves in the treatment of the people who are affected. This session was very useful to the staff, students and the parents of the college and the speaker were well appreciated for the time spent on creating this awareness.
