19.09.2024 - SWACHH BHARAT DIWAS 2024 - SWACHHTA PLEDGE
The Eco Club of St. Annes Arts and Science college along with the CPCL Chennai organized Awareness program on 19 September 2024. Mr.P. Narayana Baskar, Chief Manager delivered the inaugural address highlighting the steps taken by the Government of India under the scheme Swachh Bharat Mission initiated on 2nd October 2014. This initiative strives to foster a cleaner greener and healthier India which Mahatma Gandhi dreamt of. To implement this initiative among students, Mr. P.Narayana Baskar Chief Manager, Mr. N.Srinivasan Manager CPCL Chennai and Mr. G.Alagarasan Coordinator - SPRINGS, along with the Eco Club students took a pledge towards clean and a green planet. To make the environment greener and healthier the dignitaries from CPCL along with SPRINGS distributed herbal plants (Tulsi, Lemon grass, velai karisilankanni, Aloe vera, Betel palnt, Ranakalli and Insulin plant) to the Eco club students and staff members.
