An international conference on "Integrative Microbiology, Mathematical Modelling, Machine Learning Algorithms, and Applications" was held on January 10th, 2025, bringing together experts, researchers, and industry professionals to explore how microbiology, mathematical modelling, and machine learning can work in tandem to tackle global challenges in health, agriculture, and environmental sustainability. The event, attended by around 150 participants, featured insightful sessions on interdisciplinary collaborations, with a particular focus on breakthroughs in drug discovery and sustainable agriculture.
Dr. PK Rajesh, Professor of Microbiology and Immunology at the American University of Antigua, delivered the inaugural address, emphasizing the importance of cross-disciplinary research. During the valedictory session, Dr. C. Jothi Venkatestwaran, Principal of Government Arts College Nandanam, provided closing remarks, encouraging continued collaboration and further advancements in this interdisciplinary approach.
