The Department of Microbiology, St. Anne’s Arts and Science College, observed World Zoonoses Day on 6 July 2026 by organizing an Awareness Programme on Rabies Infection. The session sensitized students to the causes, transmission, prevention, and timely management of rabies, while emphasizing responsible pet care and animal vaccination. The programme promoted the One Health approach and encouraged students to adopt safe health practices and contribute to public health awareness.
