12.01.2024 - PONGAL CELEBRATION
Pongal is the harvest festival of Tamil Nadu, celebrated on the first day of THAI - Tamil month. A festival to thank God for all his goodness and mercies and to look forward to a prosperous year. The college entrance was decorated with colorful Rangoli. The college gathered to celebrate pongal with their respective departments with the supervision of the staff members of the college. The ceremony was inaugurated by lighting the firewood, by the Chairperson Rev. Mother Dr. Leema Rosario.The Cultural Club along with the Department of Tamil had organized various interdepartmental competitions such as rangoli competition, dance competition, Pongal making and Uriyadi competitions for the students to celebrate the traditional art forms. Sweet Pongal and sugarcanes were distributed to all the students.
